A store opening,
shot like a launch.
When La Maritxu opened its Greenwich store, we made the content that introduced it. A shoot day in the space, and the social that took the room, the boxes and the details to the feed.
The brief.
La Maritxu makes Basque cheesecake, and it was opening a permanent store in Greenwich. The room was finished to the last detail: panelled walls, a deep green ceiling, scalloped shelves, a fireplace mirror. The job was to make the opening land online the way the space lands in person, warm and considered, and worth the trip across London.
The approach.
Treat the opening as a launch, not an announcement. A shoot day in the finished store, then a run of content built to introduce it:
- Shoot the space, not just the cake. The room as a place: the walls, the light, the little lines written on the mirror and the boxes.
- Lead with the details. The "you won't stop the spoon" boxes, the menu, the wallpaper, the patio out back, all the reasons to come in.
- Cut it for the feed. Social from the shoot to announce the opening and pull people through the door.
The work.
A store, introduced. Shot in-house, on the day, and cut for the launch.
Shot as a place, not a product.
The finished space, caught the way a customer walks into it: the counter, the panelling, the green ceiling, and the mirror that does the talking.
The lines worth stopping for.
The boxes, the corner styling and the wallpaper, all on brand, all quietly doing the selling.
Room to sit and stay.
The patio out back, part of the reason the store reads as a destination and not just a counter.
The result.
The opening gave the store a feed presence from day one: a room people recognised before they walked in, and a set of launch content the brand could keep using long after the doors opened.
